University of Saskatchewan Graduate Scholarships 2024/2025 for International Students

Students from all over the world are eligible to apply for the Scholarship 2024. Applications are now available for the Winter Term of January 2024, and both international and Canadian applicants are encouraged to begin their journey.

How to Apply for University of Saskatchewan Graduate Scholarships

Here is how to apply to the University of Saskatchewan scholarships, but before we proceed will provide an overview of graduate funding opportunities for the Saskatchewan scholarships

CGPS 75th Recruitment Scholarship – This scholarship is for graduate students who have a grade system equivalent to 80% or higher. You don’t have to apply for this scholarship directly, but you can be considered for it if you’re applying for a graduate program at USask. It was created to honor the 75th anniversary of the College of GPG and Postdoctoral Studies.

Dean’s Doctoral Scholars – These awards are for students from all over the world who have great grades, are promising in their research, and are either entering or going on to graduate from USask. The scholarship is worth $24,000 annually for 2 years.

Teacher-Scholar Doctoral Fellowships – Teacher-scholar doctoral fellowships are awarded through an international and domestic university-wide competition in collaboration with the Gwenna Moss Centre for Teaching and Learning. . $15,000 per annum for one year, plus a sessional lecturer.

Indigenous Graduate Leadership Award – Indigenous Graduate Leadership Awards recognize Canadian Indigenous students who have demonstrated leadership through active participation and/or engagement in the community, both at the Master’s and PhD levels.

Note: Prior to submitting an application, applicants must determine which scholarship is most suitable for them.

In order to apply for one of the scholarships listed above, the following steps must be followed.

Step 1: Find the program you will be applying for via https://grad.usask.ca/programs/find-a-program.php

Step 2: Pick the course you would like to apply

Step 3: Upon completion of the picking your course process, you will be directed to a program page, where you can scroll down and proceed with the application process for the program.

Step 5: Fill in your information correctly like Personal information, Location information, Academic Interest, and Account information, and click on the Create Account button. Note: Here is some information you are likely to submit, It is necessary for two of the three referees to be academic contacts, while the third may be either academic or professional. Additionally, the academic history of any post-secondary institutions attended must be included in the contact information of the three referees.

Step 6: At the conclusion of the application process, you will be charged an application fee of $120. It is advised that you pay online using a credit card.

How Much for University of Saskatchewan Graduate Scholarships Application Fee

A USD 120 application fee must be paid prior to the submission and processing of the application. Payment of the application fee via Visa or Mastercard is mandatory for domestic students. International students may pay via Flywire.
