The York University Scholarship 2024 is a comprehensive undergraduate scholarship designed to provide international students with the opportunity to pursue their studies in Canada. York University is Canada’s third-largest public research university, with an enrollment of nearly 52,000 students and 7,000 faculty and staff, as well as a global alumni population of 295,000.

At York University, students are eligible for a variety of financial aid options, including scholarships, bursaries, and external scholarships. This academic year, the university provided more than 27 million dollars in scholarship and bursary awards to its students, including 9.6 million dollars for international students and 13.2 million dollars for admission scholarships. Additionally, the university offers continuing student awards of up to 4.4 million dollars. The university encourages students to research and apply for the various scholarships available in 2023, which are designed to assist students in meeting their educational needs. How to Apply for York University Scholarship

York University provides a lot of scholarship and award opportunities that are designed to promote academic excellence, demonstrate resilience, and demonstrate community leadership. Here are the types of scholarships you can apply for at York University for high-school applicants, university transfer applicants, international applicants, and how to apply.

York University Automatic Entrance Scholarships – Most high school applicants are accepted and offered entrance scholarships on the basis of mid-year or “in-course” results when their acceptance rate is 80% or higher. All Entrance Scholarship amounts and eligibility are confirmed/confirmed on the basis of final grades. The scholarship ranges from $4,000 — $16,000 and can be applied by the high-school applicant, university transfer applicant, and international applicant.

Tentanda Via Award – On tentanda scholarships you will be getting a scholarship of over $40000 for 4 years. This scholarship is only available for high-school applicants and university transfer applicants

Schulich Leader Scholarships – York University is one of only 20 universities in Canada to offer a Schulich Leader scholarship. This scholarship is designed to help promising students achieve their goals and become the next leaders in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields around the world. Scholarship range from $100,000 for 4 years and it is only applicable to high school applicants.

President’s Scholarships: This scholarship is only available for high school students and you will be getting a scholarship of $5400 annually.

York University Talent Entrance Scholarships If you are applying to programs at the School of the Arts, media, performance & design (AMPD), you will not be required to submit an award application for an apprenticeship in one of the following national apprenticeship programs. This scholarship is only available for international applicants and it is worth $1000.

Step 4: Applicants will be asked to provide a 500-word or less personal statement that outlines the reasons for your application and how you meet the requirements. If you are applying on the grounds of overcoming significant obstacles, you must include the time frame in which you encountered these obstacles, the qualities you possess that enabled you to overcome them, and the lessons you have learned from your experiences.
